6.1) Weather conditions may lead to modification of the route.

6.2) Mandatory safety equipment (helmets, life vests, etc...) should be properly worn when undertaking corresponding discipline.

6.3) All traffic rules must be followed.

6.4) No team may intentionally block other teams’ progress.

6.5) Emergency flares, portable radios, or cellular phones shall only be used in cases of serious injury or individual in danger. Activation of these devices however automatically disqualifies the team, unless the jury sees justification. (i.e. to assist another team).
