6.1) The organization will
provide the kayaks for the competitors. Other equipment
need for each of the different disciplines will be provided
for by the teams at the start of the race and must be
in compliance with the specification indicated by the
organization.
6.2) The organization reserves
the right to disapprove and/or withhold any equipment
that could be detrimental to the safety of the competitor
or provide unfair advantage to the team.
6.3) THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY
EQUIPMENT CHECK BEFORE THE START OF THE RACE, AND RANDOM
EQUIPMENT CHECKS ALONG THE COURSE OF THE RACE.
6.4) The organization reserves
the right to randomly check any teams at any time and
section of the race.
6.5) The organization will
provide a baggage check-in for excess gear, but will
only be accessed by the teams after the race.
6.6) Violation to any of
these rules will be grounds for disqualification.
